1. SYSTEM AND DESIGN VALUES
Selection is based on approximate internal diameters for steel/iron pipes. The program selects the smallest suitable diameter using approximately 0.5–1.5 m/s water velocity and a maximum linear pressure drop of 200 Pa/m. For final design, valves, fittings, total pipe length, pump head and manufacturer data must also be checked.
